Disha holds a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. With a strong interest in the biomechanics of the human body, she takes a multidisciplinary approach to treating various spinal and sports injuries. Her practice incorporates multiple modalities such as soft tissue therapy, joint mobilisation, dry needling, cupping, and exercise rehabilitation.
In August 2019, Disha had the opportunity to travel to the USA with Saisai Zheng, a top 40 WTA-ranked tennis player, where she provided treatment at the US Open in New York and other tournaments along the East Coast. She also enjoyed working with the Sydney Ice Dogs (NIHL) as their head sports chiropractor.
Disha has completed the Complete Concussion Management Inc. (CCMI) course, which has equipped her with the skills to effectively manage concussion-related issues. Her dedication to evidence-based practice and continuous learning makes her a reliable practitioner in this field. The CCMI course has enhanced her ability to treat concussion pathophysiology, gut dysbiosis, the autonomic nervous system, and cognitive function.
