When you attend your appointment at Trinity Health and Performance, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the injured area for chiropractic sessions. For example, loose pants for knees, singlets for shoulders, loose clothing for the back.

If this is your first visit to us, firstly, thank you for choosing us! Please bring any referrals from your doctor and any recent scans or medical reports to help your practitioner better understand your condition. Additionally, if you have private health insurance, please bring your health fund card, as we require the physical card for on-the-spot claims.

No, a referral is not required to see any of our practitioners privately. However, if you wish to claim your appointment under Medicare's Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan, you will need a referral from your General Practitioner (GP).

Your treatment plan is personalised based on factors such as the severity, duration, and nature of your injury. Acute injuries may require two sessions per week for a short period. Chronic conditions or maintenance care may only need fortnightly or monthly sessions.
Your therapist will discuss the best treatment frequency for you after your initial assessment.

In most cases, an X-ray is not required before your initial consultation. Your practitioner will perform a comprehensive examination, including a detailed history and orthopaedic testing, to assess your injury. If further imaging is needed, we will provide a referral for X-rays or other scans.

If you cannot make it to your appointment PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICE. Cancellation fees may apply for late cancellations within this time of your appointment. If you need to cancel or amend this appointment please contact us via email or by phone on (02) 8386 0529.

We respect your time, and we kindly ask that you do the same for us. If you miss your appointment for the first time, we will give you a warning and waive the cancellation fee. If appointments are consistently missed, you will be charged a cancellation fee (the cost of the appointment booked) for each appointment missed.

Yes! It is common for women to experience back pain during pregnancy, and chiropractic care can provide effective relief. Our treatments are tailored for pregnancy safety, with adjustments performed in side-lying positions or using a special pregnancy pillow for comfort.

While we believe in the restorative power of a manual adjustment, we also understand that not everyone is comfortable with the process of an adjustment.
Your comfort is our priority. If you would prefer not to receive an adjustment, we are more than happy to work around this issue with you. We have methods of performing adjustments that do not involve any joint cavitations, or “cracks”. Please speak to your practitioner to discuss your treatment options.

The sensation of dry needling varies from person to person. When applied correctly, it can cause a muscle twitch response, which may leave mild soreness post-treatment. However, this usually subsides within a few hours.
